We started PDD Consult in 2013 for a simple reason. Too many good ideas were dying in the gaps between design and manufacturing. So we put every discipline a product needs in one place.
PDD Consult is a product design and development studio in Bengaluru. Since 2013 we have helped founders, OEMs, and product teams take hardware from a first sketch to parts coming off a line.
We are built on a simple idea. Good products come from keeping design and engineering in the same conversation. When the industrial designers, the mechanical engineers, and the electronics people sit at one table, problems get caught early, and the thing that ships is the thing you meant to make.
How we work
Every project starts with the people who will use the product and the constraints that will make or break it. We sketch, model, simulate, and prototype our way to a design we are happy to stand behind, and we test our assumptions while they are still cheap to change.
Why one roof matters
Handoffs are where products lose their shape. Intent gets fuzzy, decisions get reopened, weeks go missing. Keeping the whole job in-house means we hold onto the thread from the first idea all the way to production.
